Paxman Joineries

About Us

For over 40 years Paxman Joineries, a family business, has been providing a superior and friendly service from the initial consultation through to the completion of the final product.

Paxman Joineries Stair ManufacturingPaxman Joineries Ltd started life as Paxman Bros being founded by brothers Fred & John Paxman in the 1960’s. In 1977 the business became incorporated as Paxman Joineries Ltd as they moved to a purpose built factory at Shoeburyness. As the business expanded a mezzanine level floor was added & in recent years separate premises acquired adjacent to the factory for use as spray shop & storage.

After the retirement of Fred & John the company was taken over by son in law Kevin Robinson & the management team. Kevin now heads up the company as MD with Fred’s daughter Katrina as Company Secretary and family member Rick Paxman as Estimator/Surveyor.

Based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, all our craftsmen are highly skilled, so we can provide purpose-made and architectural joinery to both commercial and private clients, and with our fully operational spray shop we can supply a high quality finish to wood surfaces for both internal and external applications. If it’s made of wood, boards, laminates or veneers Paxman Joineries can produce it, either unfinished for site decoration or spray finished in our own spray shop.

With our many years of experience we are skilled in supplying all aspects of joinery work from small jobs to large contracts, specialising in the manufacture of sliding sash widows, casement windows, doors, staircases, bespoke counters, and reception desks. Our aim is to always provide the highest quality craftsmanship and service whatever the job may be, at a competitive price.

You can see from our portfolio that all projects we undertake are finished to the highest standards. We have a strong reputation for customer satisfaction and we continue to gain work by recommendation.
